Which one do you need?
We sell two things. The choice is usually obvious once you know what you’re putting on it, so here they are next to each other.

The awkward cases
The two questions we get asked most often before someone orders.
A
“I want a website for my game community”
That’s two products, and it’s fine to run both. The website goes on web hosting, the server goes on game hosting. They’re billed separately and managed in different panels, because they’re genuinely different machines.
B
“Can I run an application, not a website?”
Shared hosting runs what cPanel and LiteSpeed support: PHP sites, static sites, the usual CMS platforms and databases. If you need root, a long-running process or a custom runtime, shared hosting is the wrong shape and we’d rather tell you now. Ask us and we’ll say whether we can help.
